| BACKGROUND |
|
| Schmidt Copeland Parker Stevens has been involved with the Cleveland Metroparks' Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation and CanalWay Center project since its inception in 1994. Serving as the lead master planning consultant, Schmidt Copeland Parker Stevens initiated the project by assembling a multi-disciplined team of scientists, designers and planners to collaborate throughout a responsive process structured around community and stakeholder participation. In collaboration with DLZ Inc., formerly Dodson-Stilson, our firm served as architectural consultant for all park structures on the Reservation, including the CanalWay Center. Architects will be on hand to discuss how this project evolved from the beginning stages of site planning, facility design, construction and the final completion of the project. |
